Saturday sees Rovers host Uxbridge in the run in to the end of the season.
Uxbridge are currently in sixteenth place in the table, but have won their last three matches. The Reds are old hands at this level of football, since being promoted in 1985; they have consistently remained in this league or its equivalent division in the Isthmian league. They have mainly finished in mid-table with a notable exception being a forth placed finish in 2012, where they lost a play-off semi-final to Bedworth.
Rovers will come into the game on the back of a six match unbeaten run, including last weekend’s terrific come back against Royston Town. Kempston currently sit in sixth place, four points outside the play off places but have two games in hand on the sides above.
In December, the two sides played out a 3-3 draw at Uxbridge’s Honeycroft ground. Rovers had gone two nil in front at half time, but needed a last minute goal from Sam Johnson to claim a point.
