On this day in Rovers history… The earliest recorded game on this date for Rovers was in 1906, when we met Wootton Blue Cross in the County Cup. Wootton won the game 3-1, but the result is recorded as “over-turned on appeal”
Most recently, Rovers played Blackstones in the UCL Premier in 2012, winning one nil.

Rovers will be looking to get themselves back on track after back to back league defeats to Dunstable and Cambridge in recent weeks. Aaron King and Sam Johnson will be pushing for their first starts. Jermaine Hall will also hope to be back in contention following his injury lay off.

Peterborough Sports were United Counties League Division One champions in the season that Rovers were winning the Premier title. Sports claimed back to back promotions the very next season, but by the geographical lottery were placed into the Northern League and not the Southern League with us. However, the creation of the new Central League sees the two sides coming toe to toe for the first time.
