Barton‘s current form suggests a low scoring game, with the Blues keeping four clean sheets in their last six games, which have yielded two wins and four draws. Former Kempston hero, and twice player of the season, Robbie Goodman currently plays for the club, as does another ex Walnut in Mason Spence.
Kempston have claimed eleven points from a possible eighteen since before Christmas. Lifting the club to seventh in the form table, above some of the big-hitters in the league, as Tony Joyce has finally got the settled side he has craved after the squad he inherited had pledged to stay loyal. Jermaine Hall continues his battle for fitness after being out since the middle of October, making only six appearances since joining. Both Hall and McLeod are level on appearances and goals following the win at Coleshill.
Basic directions;
Head south on the A6 and follow the signs to enter the village of Barton-le-clay. At the first roundabout on the edge of the village, turn left. Go through the village, at the mini roundabout, go straight across. The entrance to the ground is on the right, almost immediately after the Hexton turn on the left. There is a large car park at the ground, but there are some rather savage speed bumps on the driveway in.
