Did you know… The town also hosts “The largest one day agricultural show in Britain” in the Thame Show, there is also a Thame Festival, which sees much of the towns roads closed to motorists as various stalls, sideshows and rides set up.

On this day in Rovers history… The earliest recorded result on this date is back in 1901, when the club hosted Kempston Montrose in a charity game for the district nurses fund. The game apparently raised the princely sum of £2. The match ended one all.
After the First World War, the travelled to face the Third Company ASC MT, a local unit of recently demobilised soldiers. Rovers won 3-0.
The last game on this date was in our promotion season of 2015-16, when Cogenhoe were the visitors to Hillgrounds. Rovers won 3-1, with goals from Sam Johnson, Sam Macrae and an own goal, on their way to the title.
Thame arrive in Kempston on the back of two consecutive defeats against fellow high fliers in the league, Didcot and Bromsgrove. They have also recently lost against Sutton Coldfield. Their three recent victories have been at the expense of two sides at the foot of the table, Kidlington and North Leigh as well as unexpected strugglers, Cambridge City. Like ourselves, Thame had a break last weekend thanks to the weather.
Tony Joyce’s Revolution had a short hiatus thanks to the weather last weekend. Dunstable Town’s Creasy Park was under rather a lot of snow. As and when the new date for the fixture is announced, it will be published to supporters.
