Saints‘ current form is similar to our own, a shock away win at Bedford on boxing day has set them up with six points from their last six games, their other victory coming against Wantage Town. Relegated from last season’s Southern Premier division, Saints are looking at the wrong end of the table again this season. Although when the two sides met back in August, Saints came away with the win – one of only three they have managed so far this season.
Kempston’s current form is mystifying, exemplary away wins at Corby and Berkhamsted as well as a stunning come-from-behind victory against AFC Dunstable have been counter balanced with losing a two goal lead at home to Aylesbury and a heavy defeat against Biggleswade.
Carl Knox faces a race to be fit for this one after being taken off against Biggleswade on Saturday, while Robbie Goodman managed to celebrate his 200th appearance with a goal. This fixture will be manager, Tony Joyce’ fiftieth in charge of the club since taking over in mid-November 2018
